Google Program Manager I, Product Manufacturing and Build Management, Google Cloud in Atlanta, Georgia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 1 year of program management experience.

  • Experience with supply chain management and contract manufacturing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience with managing supplier forecasts, subcomponent reporting, and split adherence within global supply chain.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Product Manufacturing and Build Management (PMBM) team is part of the Global Manufacturing Operations team within Cloud Supply Chain and Operations. You will be responsible for optimizing and ensuring success of the manufacturing production for servers, machine learning, and networking equipment for Google’s data centers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $99,000-$145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Review global shortages at scale and mitigate future shortages.

  • Develop and monitor supplier performance metrics.

  • Oversee sharing accurate forecast to suppliers and proactively track supplier commitments.

  • Drive material readiness for mass production builds through collaboration with contract manufacturers, planning teams, and commodity managers.

  • Manage projects from inception through completion. Ensure requirements are complete and scope is well defined with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
