Lineate LLC seeks a Software Solutions Architect for its Brooklyn, NY location. (Hybrid)Duties: Analyze user needs and software requirements and transform these needs and requirements into technical specifications. Clarify customer goals, provide technical insight and expertise, present written roadmaps of solutions, and propose creative and comprehensive solutions. Lead the delivery of data processing flow, application design, application configuration, testing and deployment plans. Leverage knowledge of full product delivery lifecycle to plan the steps necessary to deploy software products in a production environment. Identify user needs and prepare requirements documents. Lead the design software applications using sophisticated software design and development tools and advanced techniques. Design, maintain and modify databases, including non-traditional storage platforms. Apply deep understanding of software architecture and design principles to create architectural diagrams, including supporting non-functional requirements, and conduct software architecture and code reviews with project teams prior to design and development activities. Ensure solutions meet business scalability and performance expectations and aligned with product roadmaps. Function as expert in key emerging technologies. Requirements: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field plus 4 years of experience as a software developer, software architect, or closely related position. Work experience must include: Applied knowledge of standard development practices, data structures, design patterns, BigData, NoSQL, distributed systems, and Machine Learning; Applied knowledge of Solution Architecture and Agile/LEAN methodologies including UI First approach, Kanban, evolving architecture, SOLID and KISS principles, iterative delivery process, continuous delivery, continuous integration; Utilizing Stack of Amazon Cloud: EC2, EBS, SQS, S3, CloudFormation, EBeanstalk; Applied knowledge of OpenRTB, SSP, DSP, bidder, RTB Exchange, AdWords, AppNexus, Google DFP; Knowledge of Publishing and Content management industry including content monetization patterns, typical architectures, business problems and solutions, industry-standard tools; Using the following tools/technologies: Java, Python, JavaScript, Scala; MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Apache Cassandra, Couchbase, MongoDB, and HBase; Apache Spark, Apache Hive, Apache Hadoop; Eclipse or Intellij IDEA or Sublime Text; Apache Maven, Apache Ant, NPM; jQuery, AngularJS, NodeJS; Operation systems administration; Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, Nginx, Apache2; Atlassian Jira. May work remotely, but must be able to report to Brooklyn, NY office three (3) times per week.
