Major Duties

  • The Quality Coordinator is responsible for generating Quality reports and supporting various Quality initiatives and objectives.

  • You will work with other Quality roles to analyze trends from various system outputs and deliver the reports necessary to drive decision-making and maintain the Business Quality Management System.

  • You will assist with the execution of the Calibration process and support the Project Quality and Supplier Quality roles in managing their respective documents and records.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data collection from automated and manual sources. This requires the ability import and manipulate electronic data.

  • Support the maintenance of the QMS Document Control System and report on documentation due for revisions.

  • Identify, suggest and implement better/automated approaches to data collection and history file automation.

  • Support calibration process; collect tools, prepare purchase requisitions and track incoming and outgoing tools.

  • Support quality project documentation/History Files as required (i.e. recordkeeping, shipping, indexing etc.).

  • Support with uploading supplier documents as required (i.e. Supplier QMS certificates, Supplier CWB certificates, Supplier next approval required etc.)

  • Works independently on assigned projects. Status reports shall be provided as required.

  • Follow 5S best practices in the office area.

  • Track and report open NCRs/CARs/SCARs/JIRA tickets and Project Hours and report to the Quality Manager monthly.

  • Maintain positive and good relationships with all functional groups within the Industrial Automation divisions.

  • Perform duties in a safe manner in accordance with company and jurisdictional health and safety policies and procedures.

  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.

  • Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures.

  • Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tag out methods.

  • Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts.

  • Report defects in any equipment or protective device.

  • Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks.

  • Attend all required health, safety and environmental training.

  • Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct

  • Assist in investigating accidents/incidents if required.

  • Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures.

  • Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods.

  • Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts.

  • Report defect in any equipment or protective device.

  • Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks.

  • Attend all required health, safety and environmental training.

  • Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor.

  • Assist in investigating accidents/incidents.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

  • Completed 2-3 years of College/University or equivalent experience specializing in administration, computers, database and information systems and/or Quality Assurance Program

  • ISO and/or N299 functional understanding

Experience

  • At least 2 years advanced experience with the use of SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • At least 2 years work experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of 5S principles through classroom training and/or work experience

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
