Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist based in Carrollton, Texas, United States. The successful candidate will join our team in a contract role, focusing on the application of various accounting software systems. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will handle critical accounting functions, including billing and check processing, and will work extensively with Microsoft Office Suites.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable activities

• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate records

• Handle billing functions and check processing tasks efficiently

• Use Great Plains (GPAC) and IBM AS/400 systems for various accounting functions

• Perform cash activity monitoring and management

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites for data management and reporting

• Ensure compliance with established accounting standards and procedures

• Resolve customer inquiries related to accounts receivable

• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and procedures

• Assist in other accounting functions as needed Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is desirable

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Capability to manage Cash Activity efficiently

• Experience in Check Processing is essential
