Position Summary:

The Process Technician is a pivotal role within the CMO technical team, collaborating closely with formulation SME’s reflecting the requirements of the drug product formulation. As part of the technical team you will transfer existing process understanding and scientific background into the CMO technical support and production teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Production team in the delivery of the following: • Process documentation generation and approval.

  • Transfer and demonstration of existing process knowledge into the SWC6 systems.

  • Ensuring the process for products to be manufactured is set up and maintained in accordance with GMP, Standard Operating Procedures and other regulatory agency requirements!

  • Involvement in the equipment and process establishment and validation phases on through into routine commercial manufacturing.

  • Supporting the implementation of staff training and development programmes to assure proficiency (suitably qualified and experienced personnel) and support the achievement of objectives.

  • Working as an effective member of the project team, collaborating closely with the formulation SMEs as appropriate to draw in expertise.

  • Troubleshooting manufacturing processes to secure the product quality.

  • Tracking improvements, preventing troubleshooting solutions to critical team members.

  • Complete all activities to optimally acquire and maintain a Bronze license Badge – Production areas (Grade C/D) access. Maintain the Bronze license through successful requalification every 2 years

  • Learn and understand real time data reviews and trending.

  • Lead and Support RAPID investigations to gather incidents

  • Ensure timely reporting and investigation of all accidents, near misses and breaches of rules.

EH&S:

  • Understand emergency procedures and align with safe systems of work.

  • Ensure compliance with environment, health and safety rules, signage and instructions at all times.

  • Ensure prompt reporting and investigation of all accidents, near misses and breaches of rules.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • College based engineering qualification. • Minimum 2-3 years of successful experience in same field!

  • Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and continuous improvement • Strong communication skills The role may require the holder to perform shift work, including 24/7 cover.
