Description and Requirements

We are looking for a Territory Sales Advocate for Premium Retail working remotely in Eastern Canada, reporting to the Area sales Manager. This role is responsible for field sales efforts, according to the national strategy, to maximize sales. You will enhance product assortment and brand visibility at the Points of Sale (POS) in various Retail Partners, while building strong relationships with store management and sales associates. That person will make our preferred brand the choice in stores and be an enthusiastic Ambassador of our clients brand.

As a Territory Sales Representative, you'll establish and manage the relationship with different Points of Sales (POS) within your defined territory. You will ensure the brand's machines range availability in Trade and ensure consistency of the brand presence and customer experience in all POS. You will oversee all aspects of independent account management including, but not limited to securing shelf space, durable POS opportunity, in-store demonstration (if applicable), merchandising, and influence inventory sell-in and sell-out. etc. You will educate and motivate the POS about all the brand's product offerings, sustainability initiatives, and brand mission. You will ensure compliance with the brand's principles and policies. You'll also:

You will also:

  • Manage product inventory in stores to ensure assortment/supply and minimize OOS as well as accessories.

  • Analyze business data to prepare and use for POS discussions and negotiations.

  • Ensure consistency of the brand's presence and customer experience in all POS.

  • Visit stores daily according to your time and territory plan.

  • Negotiate sell-out activities to maximize product rotation in-store.

  • Ensure the brand image is respected (per brand guidelines).

  • Ensure an effective partnership between the POS and the brand to secure the interests of both parties: maximizing sales and brand visibility (durable and non-durable POSM).

  • Manage operational efficiency of Detailer and Merchandising resources, including any demonstration supplies and materials as applicable.

  • Identify and secure POS in high ROI/potential Retail Trade partner outlets for client.

  • Support marketing events for the client.

  • Comply with all Premium Retail policies (expenses, travel, free goods, demonstration, health, and safety, etc.).

  • Submit all required HQ reporting accurately and on time.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or sales in a fast-moving consumer or luxury goods.

  • Track record of successful outside sales management.

  • Some physical labor required (up to 20 lbs.).

  • Experience dealing with all levels of management at the store level, in our retail trade partners.

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Business oriented, autonomous, diligent, and creative.

  • Strong communication/presentation skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate and convey key brand messages with passion, credibility, and sincerity.

  • Flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment.

  • Ability to do in-store and group training on the brand and message.

  • Analytical skills required.

  • Ability to self-manage remotely.

  • In-store merchandising experience and creativity.

  • Good knowledge of the retail landscape in Canada (luxury goods are an asset).

  • Ability to work some evenings/weekends.
