Job Summary

The Suites Manager is responsible for working alongside the General Manager of Suites to oversee our Suites Operations team at the location - ensuring high standards of the guest experience, safety, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced food and beverage leader. A great coach who can get the best out of people and continually drive operational performance and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports all company initiatives

  • Executes show quality standards at all times

  • Maintains positive relationships with guests and obtains regular feedback

  • Executes all menus, promotions and programs as outlined by the Director of Operations/Department Head in accordance with Levy standards

  • Supervise food preparation, service and clean-up

  • Ensures all security, safety and sanitation standards are met

  • Effectively uses Purchasing and all financial control systems

  • Controls cost areas to assist the unit in meeting financial goals

  • Knows all financial areas and statements

  • Manages team to build top-line sales

  • Achieves assigned delegated budget goals

  • Forecasts and adequately schedules team members to meet operational needs and desired targets

  • Holds team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service & ensures that all team members adhere to guidelines as stated in Levy manuals

  • Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Levy team members

  • Executes required daily reporting in a timely manner

  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members

  • Interviews, hires, trains and develops team members according to Levy guidelines

  • Regularly obtains feedback from clients and guests to improve operations

  • Responds and assists in any departmental guest service issues

  • Supporting other locations/properties as needed

  • Other duties, as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail

  • Excellent overall computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Understanding of financial concepts

  • Has excellent brand-specific culinary, wine and beverage knowledge

  • Supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching skills

  • Ability to assess client requirements and deliver ensuring client satisfaction

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Valid Nevada Food Handler Card, TAM Card, & ServSafe Manager

  • Experience in a Collective Bargaining Unit environment

  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, flexible and adaptable to constant changes and must possess attention to detail

  • Proactive mindset and able to remain calm under pressure to anticipate and support changes in our business
