The Role

Are you experienced in Capture Management? Join our Projects & Programmes Business at Government Solutions International. This role, aligned with Government and Defence sectors, reports to the Head of Sales Enablement.

As a Capture Manager, you'll lead the process of winning business for large-value programmes, from pre-tender to negotiation. Engage closely with customers, partners, and end-users to secure opportunities aligning with our targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the capture process from start to finish on assigned opportunities. From qualification through pre-procurement stages, tender submission up to contract award.

  • Form the core pursuit team and assemble an team from wider industry that compliments KBR capabilities to both win the opportunity and deliver the programme successfully

  • Define customer engagement and management strategy. Understanding customer hot buttons and issues

  • Assess competitive position and produce strategies to enhance our strengths / mitigate our weaknesses, improving our project win

  • Determine discriminators, win strategy, solution set

  • Lead internal stakeholder management and follow sales processes keeping senior leadership informed and engaged throughout an opportunity lifecycle. Lead the compilation and presentation of artefacts in key Investment Decision Meetings, including Presentation Packs and Bid Budgets

  • Facilitate lessons learned

    What We Need

The ideal candidate understands Government and Defence markets. This role presents a growth opportunity, offering regular briefings to senior leadership.

Proven track record of leading, developing, negotiating, and closing strategically important contracts.

Demonstrated experience in winning business with customers and industrial partners in a similar environment.
