What's your next move?
As an Associate Consultant in the Healthcare & Group Risk team, you will operate as a benefits specialist, overseeing and supporting the delivery of Health & Productivity services across a broad portfolio of clients / benefit programmes and significant consulting projects and assignments for key clients.
You will be expected to support the development of strong client relationships, and strategy to continually seek opportunities to grow our client services & revenues.
The Associate Consultant work alongside and provide support with client management and sales to “lead” consultants, on all ‘Healthcare and Risk’ policies.
This opportunity will suit an ambitious individual keen to progress into a Consultant role, as it will allow them to directly manage (under senior colleagues’ supervision) the delivery of specific H&P services to key client relationships.
Some key responsibilities include:
Direct contact with clients to resolve queries, support relationship development and to ensure the timely delivery of services;
Undertaking market review and re-broking exercises for both new and existing clients;
Support lead consultants in managing the annual client lifecycle activities including directly undertaking the installation process for scheme renewals and transfers;
Attendance and participation at selected client meetings;
Overseeing and maintaining up to date scheme specifications, records and files;
Ensuring that the company FCA requirements are fully adhered to (file maintenance, terms of business, key facts documents, claim register, file checklists);
Peer reviewing and ensuring own work is peer reviewed as appropriate;
Maintaining accurate time recording and charging to clients where applicable;
Staying abreast with applicable regulatory bodies;
Adhering to Corporate Policies and Procedures (CCPs)
Reporting any suspected breaches to management / compliance department upon discovery.
What we look for;
Experience in a Healthcare or Group risk related environment is essential;
Strong understanding of employee benefits design and health insurance operations;
Must be highly organised with excellent attention to detail;
Able to prioritise, organise and carry out tasks within deadlines;
Able to follow process and procedure accurately;
Good numeracy and literacy skills;
Must be at intermediate level or higher on Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and preferably Excel (Pivot tables, Vlook-ups);
Proactive and a team player;
Computer literate and quick to pick up new systems and processes.
