Principal Cloud Security Specialist

Job Description:

Sage is on the lookout for a dedicated Principal Cloud Security Specialist to join our Security Engineering team. This is an opportunity to drive real change and see the impact of your work across multiple cutting-edge AI infused products. In this role, you won't just be another team member—you'll be a trusted advisor and internal consultant, working closely with our product teams to ensure alignment with our security strategy. You will provide the crucial link between Security Engineering and Product, providing critical security guidance for both new and existing products, and influencing our security roadmap.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating closely with product and development teams, offering expert advice on security best practices and identifying areas for improvement.

• Incorporating design patterns and architectural principles into Sage products, ensuring the highest levels of security.

• Proposing and implementing security enhancements on existing Sage products.

• Reviewing solution architecture and providing insightful recommendations.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in security, including a focus on cloud security architecture.

• Comfortable navigating complex technical environments, whether on-premises or in the cloud.

• Deep understanding of security in DevOps environments- Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform

• Expertise in implementing security controls across data, infrastructure, and cloud applications.

• Experience with CI/CD processes and integrating security and code quality tools.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration across multiple product teams.
