About the role:
You will be part of a high performing and friendly team helping to provide a quality customer service to our clients in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to deal with customer queries in a friendly and helpful but informative manner whilst being able to explain technical details in an easy to understand way. Above all, you’ll make sure every aspect of every case runs as smoothly as possible, keeping our customers happy from start to finish.
For the members of pension schemes that we look after you’ll be more than just the friendly face of Buck.
You’ll be a natural problem solver who is calm under pressure, and you take real pride in representing our business. You’ll have strong communication skills and will demonstrate the ability to empathise and understand what our members need.
There’s a lot to learn and you will receive structured ongoing training to build your pensions knowledge and develop both technical and customer service skills. In return, you should be prepared to assimilate and retain a large amount of information quickly and demonstrate a ‘can do’ approach to your work.
What you’ll be doing
Acting as the first point of contact for pension scheme members;
Assisting with day-to-day transactions, queries and scheme member servicing;
Reviewing pension scheme interactions and ensuring that the technical queries are escalated;
Handling difficult member queries sensitively and confidently.

Customer service experience is advantageous, but not essential, we will provide full training. We do ask is that you have a passion for exemplary customer service.
