UL, LLC TS Associate in Melbourne, Australia

Come and join an expanding team involved in the latest payments technology. Exposure to a range of platforms and programs in both the traditional payments space as well as Tap to Phone programs, both scheme and PCI based.

Interaction with a range of customers both local and worldwide, and also with sister labs in China and the UK to provide knowledge sharing. UL labs have been involved in PCI xPoC standards since their initial release, and have currently approved 2/3 MPoC solutions and 3/5 MPoC Software Products.

Under direct supervision, develops personal, technical, and market domain knowledge and skills to become a highly skilled professional. Assists with challenging customer projects as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports other transaction security professionals with challenging customer projects, ensuring goals and objectives are met within an arranged time frame.

  • Learns through observation and hands-on experience.

  • Acquires a sense of the global transaction security business.

  • Develops technical, personal, and market domain knowledge and skills.

  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • Acquires good understanding of the global transaction security business.

  • Able to perform research and absorb knowledge about an indicated and market related topic, share knowledge by giving presentations or create whitepapers.

  • Being capable of performing duties independently after a period of time.

  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

  • University Degree (minimum equivalent to a Bachelors degree, Masters Degree or PhD are preferred), preferably in a technical or a related discipline.

  • Preferably experience with cryptography - basic concepts, types, implementations and experience in android / iOS ecosystems, ideally development.

  • Preferably with understanding of and testing to industry standards (ideally PCI standards including PTS/SPoC/CPoC/MPoC, but not required - experience with any standard is nice to have)

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Hybrid Set up (reporting to Melbourne office)
