Role Description

The Regional Public Sector Wealth Director will drive growth of Buck’s public sector business in the Philadelphia region, including Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington DC, and Southern New Jersey. He or she will supervise all aspects of our actuarial consulting offering to public sector clients in the region. This includes Federal, State, County, City, and local, and quasi-governmental international organizations.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Proven track record of business development and actuarial consulting in public sector

  • 10+ years of public sector actuarial work experience

  • Must have Act 205 experience

  • Enrolled actuary, Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries

  • In depth knowledge of Public Pension and OPEB plan funding and accounting requirements

  • Understanding of sales and marketing for public sector

  • Ability to grow, manage and develop public sector teams

Geographic Location and Travel

This role will be based in the Philadelphia region.
