Job Responsibilities: Manage and lead the day-to-day activities of the three technical disciplines that make up the Operations Technical Services Team, Telecommunications Asset Management, Asset Management Data Analytics, and Commissioning Engineering. Ensure practices and procedures adhere to all applicable regulatory standards, and industry best practices related to equipment commissioning. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure critical milestones for the OTS team are completed in line with project schedules. Ensure that all transmission substation equipment has an adequate commissioning plan including pre-commissioning, construction, testing, energization, and close out. When required, provide onsite assistance and or troubleshooting support for equipment issues. Create strategies for DLCs telecommunications equipment and projects in support of overarching strategy. Develop and oversee maintenance and capital investment budgets for equipment in area of responsibility. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain a suite of reports to support asset level compliance, and asset health. Collaborate with peers on specification development, maintenance and testing procedures, NERC PRC-005 compliance procedures, and other technical documentation as required. Develop and oversee progress report for DLC's regulatory reported inspection and maintenance program. Ensure direct reports are up to date on all compliance and safety training requirements. Promote a culture of safety within the OTS group in line with DLC's safety handbook and other applicable procedures.

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution required. Seven (7+) or more years of related experience required. Valid driver's license is required to travel to and between sites. Professional Engineering Licensure preferred. Master's degree or higher education preferred. Previous leadership experience preferred.

Scope Primary focus is on day-to-day management of operational execution. Also develops and exercises business plans, policies, and procedures. Contributes to proactive planning exercises of management team as requested. Trains and develops staff. Plans the workflow. Looks for areas of process improvement and directs available resources to acco plish this. Leads changes and implementations for direct team as pushed down through the organization.

Decision Impact Resolves problems of a greater complexity than the Supervisor level. Improves existing processes & systems using conceptualizing, reasoning, & interpretation skills. Solutions require through understanding of business strategies and issues. Defines broad based solutions that would require consideration of wider implications on organization results & resources.

Hybrid Work Position follows our hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs.
